Be a true friend to the environment
On Thursday 8th October we celebrated Tree Day. We collected leaves which will be turned into compost and help the plants that grow in our school garden. If your daughter would like to collect leaves there is a brown wheely bin by the school double doors that she can pop them in before school. We also went on a tree trail and had a look at some of the trees in our school including the Beech Tree which is assigned to First Class. It is in the corner of the staff car park, just beside the gate to the Meadow. After all that we were so inspired by the beautiful colours that we created our own Autumn trees by stamping leavings using toilet rolls. The Green Schools Committee work very hard in our school and are helping us to get our SEVENTH Green Flag! Don't forget the motto this year is "Be a true friend to the environment".
